Kayaks

My school went for a school trip. We were taught how to paddle with a paddle and then it was time to hop in the kayaks and we were told not to go out further than the boys. As we sat on the kayaks we had a race to the other side of the pond and then we joined together and then the instructor put a lolly on a kayak and then the person who has the lolly on their kayak had 5 seconds to get away. Then we went and tried to get the lolly off of the kayak. I was on a double kayak with Victoria we had a go with a lolly too and when we had finished learning, the instructor let us do what we wanted to do. Mrs Mansell and me went to kayak around the island and then back. Then I went to get a buoy for the lady. It was so heavy I couldn’t swim fast then she showed me another way to carry it and then it was time to go and have lunch.
